The Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI) is a non-profit association with the largest certification program for compostable products and packaging in North America. Their innovative compostable logo verifies that products and packaging have been independently tested and verified according to scientifically based standards.
Why is it important for us to use compostable cups? Because our cups are BPI certified and the material they are made from breaks down in less than 80 days. Other cups overburden our beaches and landfills; these cups will break down in municipal composting facilities. A much kinder option for our environment!
